The HJ-CSS-R Series Renewable Energy Step-Up Substation is a heavy-duty, highly integrated turnkey solution engineered specifically for utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) and wind power generation. It seamlessly aggregates low-voltage AC power from solar inverters or wind turbines (up to 1.14kV) and steps it up directly to medium-voltage transmission grids (up to 40.5kV). The main transformer oil tank achieves an unprecedented IP68 waterproof rating, while the MV/LV compartments maintain strict IP54 protection. It operates flawlessly in extreme ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, high altitudes up to 3000m, and intense wind speeds up to 35m/s.

3. Optimized "Linear" & "Triangle" Layouts

Space and thermal management are highly optimized. Depending on site constraints and cable routing, the substation can be configured in a "Linear" (M-Type / 目字形) or "Triangle" (P-Type / 品字形) layout. This ensures superior natural and forced-air cooling for the transformer while providing safe, spacious access for maintenance personnel.

4. Dedicated Premium Protection Components

Equipped with specialized high-voltage current-limiting fuses (XRNT series) capable of breaking up to 31.5kA fault currents. Furthermore, it incorporates gapless metal-oxide surge arresters (YH5WZ series) to provide ultimate defense against lightning strikes and devastating switching overvoltages common in vast solar/wind arrays.

Global Factory Acceptance & Turnkey Support

Every HJ-CSS-R unit undergoes rigorous factory acceptance testing (FAT), simulating the exact thermal loads and harmonic conditions of your specific inverters. We deliver this massive system as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) on a heavy-duty steel skid. Simply crane it onto the concrete pad, connect the MV/LV cables, and instantly synchronize your renewable plant to the grid.
