1. Intelligent Microprocessor APFC Control

At the heart of the system is an advanced Automatic Power Factor Controller (APFC). It continuously monitors real-time active and reactive power, voltage, and current. Utilizing smart switching algorithms, it eliminates hunting (over-compensation) and ensures the optimal number of capacitor steps are engaged to maintain a target PF close to unity (0.99).

2. Detuned Reactors for Harmonic Protection

Modern electrical networks are often polluted with non-linear loads. To prevent dangerous harmonic resonance and protect the capacitors from premature failure, the HJ-PFC can be factory-fitted with highly robust detuned series reactors (typically 7% or 14%). This effectively blocks harmful harmonics while providing essential reactive power.

3. Flexible Symmetric & Asymmetric Compensation

To address complex and unbalanced loads, our capacitor banks support versatile switching configurations. The system seamlessly integrates both 3-phase simultaneous compensation (Delta connection) for balanced loads and single-phase independent compensation (Wye/Star connection) for heavily unbalanced lighting or commercial circuits.

4. Self-Healing Capacitors & High Durability

Safety and longevity are guaranteed. We utilize premium, low-loss, self-healing metallized film capacitors with built-in over-pressure tear-off fuses. Combined with specialized capacitor-duty contactors (or zero-crossing thyristor switches for ultra-fast dynamic loads), the system delivers an extended operational lifespan of up to 100,000 hours with minimal maintenance.
